St. Andre des Eaux

The local village of St. Andre des Eaux is just 2km away and has all the typical amenities - grocer, baker, butcher, pharmacy, bank and doctors.  There are a number of large supermarkets within a few Kilometers.

La Baule

A smart seaside resort and yachting marina with a large sweep of sandy beaches and tree-lined avenues.  The resort boasts a wide range of chic restaurants and boutiques along with plenty of things to do.

Southern Brittany

Boasting the most spectacular coastal scenery in France, Brittany has firmly established itself as a favourite holiday destination.

The villa is situated towards the Southern tip of Brittany, which is characterised by a softer, warmer climate with a mix of long sweeps of sand, sheltered coves and river inlets, all dotted with small colourful fishing ports.

Inland, the picturesque heather and gorse-covered moors play host to meandering rivers and prehistoric monuments.

Things To Do

Golf

The villa overlooks the 12th green on the 'blue' course of Golf International La Baule, but the association doesn't stop there. Within a short drive are a number of spectacular courses which make the villa an ideal base for a golfing holiday.  Click here for more information on golf.

Activities

Coastal Treks

The spectacular coastline is ideal for walking and cycling treks.  Cycles can be hired in La Baule.

Tennis

La Baule hosts the Group Barriere tennis academy which comprises indoor and outdoor courts that are available for booking.

Water Sports

The sandy beaches of La Baule host a wide range of water sports activities including sailing, wind/para-surfing and water skiing.

Kids

There are a number of crèche facilities on the beaches at La Baule providing a range of planned activities for children from ages 5 upwards.

Le Croisic has an excellent Oceanarium along with good restaurants for lunch after your visit.

Horse Riding

There are many local equestrian centres where horse riding / lessons can be booked.
